Mail call!

As I was leaving yesterday, I received a wonderful present in the mail: my dad had sent me his Sony reader to use, since it was just collecting dust at home. I’m SO excited about it! The first book I put on there was one I’ve been dying to read, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (hoping I like it more than the original), and I can’t wait to test it out when I get the time. Here’s a pic of my newest toy (courtesy of Google products)

It’s so pretty! I should name it… I’m thinking it’s a “her,” although it has a black leather case that’s pretty masculine! Really excited to start loading more books onto here and trying out its features. If anyone has links to good free ebook sites, or sites with tips and tricks for the reader, I’d love to hear em!

Also, just want to send some link love to Corn On the Job. Not only is it a great blog for job hunters, but Rich is also a moderator of a weekly #jobhuntchat on Twitter that I just discovered, and he’s been great about answering my job-hunting questions. So thanks, Rich!

I’m back to reading for my English thesis… more to come on the next procrastination break…

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was AMAZING. A great read, highly recommend it. It’s great for a laugh, while also having actual literature value!
